Angiofibroma of the. pharynx is an uncommon tumor with the multicentric origin, being a highly vascular, invasive, noncapsulated,lesion. It is usually found in the nasopharynx of the adolescent male, however, primary angiofibroma is known a very seldom one in the oropharynx.
Recently author experienced & case of angiofibroma on the lateral wall of the oropharynx (Lt.). On July 12, 1971, a 22 year old boy entered with the difficulties in feeding, breathing and speaking
The tumor was removed successfully under local anesthesia. On pathogic examination, it was confi. rmed to be a angiofibroma and the postoperative course was uneventful.
